What is Tradingo?

Tradingo.com is a venue that allows its users to facilitate trading, buying and selling among themselves.

Does it cost anything?

Currently all transactions on Tradingo.com are free. In the future we may, at our discretion, charge for trades and /or buying or selling.

How does it work?

Simple, just sign up and upload pictures of the stuff you want to trade. Make sure you tag the items with an accurate description. That will make sure people can find your stuff when they do a search. Go to the “How it Works” [hyperlink] page for a more detailed description of the process.

Can I trade anything I want?

Yes within reason. Items that are illegal to ship such as fireworks, etc. cannot be traded. Items that encourage or promote illegal activity (an ebook that gives instructions on how to make crystal meth, for example) are prohibited. Can I trade Guns and Ammunition

Yes, Tradingo allows the sale and trade of guns and ammunition, but firearms must be shipped only to an FFL Holder. Buyer must mail a copy of his (or his transfer dealer's) license, signed in blue or red ink, to the seller before the item can be shipped. Buyer must make arrangements with a Transfer Dealer before purchasing or trading for a firearm.

I’m under eighteen. Can I still trade?

Yes, but you will need your parent or legal guardian's permission to do so. If you are under the age of thirteen, you are not allowed to use Tradingo.com.

I just accepted a trade. Is this a legally binding contract?

Yes, it is. As a trader you are obligated to complete all trades you have accepted and/or initiated when the initiated trade has been accepted by another user. An accepted trade is a binding contract between you and your fellow trader. By accepting a trade you agree to be bound by the conditions of the trade included in the item’s description so long as those conditions of trade are not in violation of this Agreement or unlawful. Unless you and your fellow trader agree otherwise, you will become the item’s lawful owner upon physical receipt of the item from the seller. Accepted trades are not retractable except in exceptional circumstances, such as when your trade partner materially changes the item’s description after you accept or a clear typographical error is made.

Once I agree to a trade, how long do I have to ship it?

You agree to ship your item within 24 hours of a trade being completed. In the event that a trade is completed on or within 24 hours of a weekend or holiday, you agree to ship your item on the next business day after such weekend or holiday.

Items lost or damaged in transit are the sole responsibility of the shipping member. Tradingo.com is not responsible for any item that is shipped by a member and is lost or damaged in the shipping process. The shipping member is responsible for properly insuring shipped items.

The item I traded for arrived and it doesn’t work.

For buying/selling items over $100.00 we recommend using escrow.com. This protects both buyer and seller.

Remember, Tradingo.com is a venue to allow its users to facilitate trading among themselves. We are not involved in the actual transaction between the traders. As a result, we have no control over the quality, safety or legality of the items traded, the truth or accuracy of the listings, or the ability of traders to trade. We cannot ensure that a trader will actually complete a trade. However, if you feel you have been a victim of fraud, please contact us at fraud@tradingo.com and we will take action we deem appropriate.

I think the item I traded for is counterfeit. What do I do?

Again, Tradingo.com is not involved in the actual transaction between the traders. As a result, we have no control over the quality, safety or legality of the items traded, the truth or accuracy of the listings, or the ability of traders to trade. If you believe that the item you received is counterfeit, please contact us at fraud@tradingo.com and we will take action we deem appropriate.
